Over 15 years' experience performing for weddings
Harriet is one of the most in demand wedding harpists in London and the South East. She has performed everywhere from the BRIT awards to Celebrity Big Brother, for both British and foreign Royalty, at prestigious hotels such as Claridges and the Savoy hotel, and at wedding venues as diverse as the Tower of London, London Zoo, floating on boats on the river Thames and even underneath the Cutty Sark!
Outside London, Harriet and her harp have been booked to play for weddings and functions in hotels and venues across the home counties, including Wotton House, Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, Penhurst Place, Knebworth, Taplow House Hotel, Leeds Castle, Selsdon Park Hotel, and Epsom Racetrack (where she was very happy to be situated exactly in front of the finish line!).
Harriet has an enormously varied repertoire with everything from Adele to Coldplay and Katy Perry, and classical favourites by Bach, Pachelbel and Puccini. She is always adding to the music she plays, and is happy to take requests with advance warning, and where possible, on spec! If you need advice or suggestions on what music to have for your wedding, then Harriet can provide a tailormade list of pieces specially chosen to complement the different parts of the day – her vast experience as a wedding harpist mean she has a great idea of what works well and how to set the right mood for the day.
Harriet can perform for all the different parts of your wedding day – the harp works perfectly during the Ceremony to provide live music to walk up and down the aisle to, and to entertain your guests as they wait for the main attraction. It also works really well during the drinks reception as extra entertainment during all the photo calls. Finally, a harpist is a fantastic addition to the wedding breakfast, adding ambience and perfectly covering any lulls in conversation.
In addition to her skills as a solo harpist, Harriet also performs in a variety of duos including harp and flute, harp and violin, harp and soprano, two harps, and harp and ‘cello. If you are interested in any of these options, please contact Harriet to discuss the possibilities in more detail.
